What inspires me to begin a painting is a singular emotion—something I want to capture and carry through to the finished piece. My hope is that each work evokes in the viewer the same feeling I experienced when I first encountered the scene.

Recently, I have been drawn to the movement, power, and quiet majesty of ocean waves. Watching them unfold fills me with a sense of calm, strength, and awe all at once. Through my work, I aim to share a moment of that experience with you.
